Zicuria Ussery, a student at Maynard [H.] Jackson High School in Atlanta, is one of 27 student finalists in thisyear’s National Youth Entrepreneurship Competition.
The Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing youth in low-income communities, said finalists will compete in the 2009 OppenheimerFunds/NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. Ussery, the only finalist from Georgia, will present a business plan and vie for a $10,000 prize during the Oct. 7 event in New York.
