Fred A. Toomer Elementary School’s first grade teacher Megan Dosmann was recently awarded an Earthwatch Live From the Field Fellowship. On March 13, Dosmann will leave on a two-week expedition with Earthwatch to study the effects of climate change on mammals in Nova Scotia. The expedition, from March 14-27, is sponsored by HSBC in the Community (USA) Inc. Read more about Ms. Dosmann’s expedition in Nova Scotia here. Earthwatch, the world’s largest environmental nonprofit volunteer organization, is based in Metro Boston.
