12th Annual Project GRAD Walk for Success – Saturday, September 17th

Communities In Schools of Atlanta staff, APS staff and dedicated volunteers from WalMart and Hands on Atlanta, along with teachers and principals will visit the homes of 700 students in Project GRAD Atlanta high schools this Saturday.

A South Atlanta Educational Complex student reviews the Project GRAD covenant with Walk for Success volunteers.

The purpose of the Annual Walk for Success is to provide information on the offerings of Project GRAD, and encourage students to sign coventants committing to high school graduation.

The covenant also explains the details of the Project GRAD program and the resources available to students enrolled in Project GRAD schools, such as summer institutes on college campuses and the Project GRAD scholarship which gives students up to $4,000 towards their college tuition upon graduation from a Project GRAD school.

When: Saturday, September 17th, 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
