Eight Atlanta Public Schools student athletes were named to the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s 2016 All-State Basketball Teams, the AJC announced on Friday.
Leading the way is Benjamin E. Mays junior Kamiyah Street, who helped propel the Lady Raiders to the quarterfinals of the Georgia High Schools Association (GHSA) Class AAAAA State Basketball Tournament, and a final overall record of 22-8. Street also has been named the Class AAAAA, Region 6 Player of the Year and a Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) All-Star, and made the Naismith Award’s honorable mention list as well.
