All eyes will be on Mays tonight as the Raiders host Alexander (Douglas County) at 8 p.m. at Lakewood Stadium, in a game that will go a long way toward deciding the Class AAAAAA-Region 5 champion.
The Raiders (7-1, 6-0 in Class AAAAAA-Region 5) have moved up to No. 4 in the Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC)/Georgia High School Football Daily (GHSFD) Class AAAAAA Top 10 poll, while Alexander (8-0, 6-0) is undefeated and has risen to No. 5. The game is so big that it was selected as the CBS46 High School Game of the Week, and all four local channels will show highlights of the game during their news broadcasts at 11 p.m. Additionally, the game was selected as the ScoreATL/Atlanta Falcons Game of the Week and will be televised online at ScoreATL.com.
