
Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy (CSKYWLA) will hold commencement exercises May 21, 4:00 p.m. at Georgia Institute of Technology’s McCamish Pavilion. Principal Eulonda Washington and the entire Eagles family have a lot to be proud of: 100 percent of the 51 new CSKYWLA Academy alumni are headed to college and career with more than $1 million in scholarships!

Freshman year was a major turning point in Crystal Walker‘s academic life. As a ninth grader at CSKYWLA, Crystal remembers how it felt when her name wasn’t recognized for being among the top five students in the class. That’s when Crystal decided to work even harder. On May 21, she will graduate with distinction as the No. 3 senior in the CSKYWLA Class of 2019. Read more.
Despite facing some traumatic experiences while growing up, Necye Griggs, 18, remains resilient and determined. This fall, she will attend Alabama State University on a band scholarship, with plans to major in biology/pre-med and become an obstetrician/gynecologist. Read more.
