Please join us Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at Georgia State University’s football stadium for the inaugural Atlanta Public Schools Great Atlanta Bash football event!
The showcase will include the following games:
10:00 a.m.: South Atlanta vs. Booker T. Washington
12:40 p.m.: Maynard Jackson vs. Carver
3:20 p.m.: Benjamin E. Mays vs. New Manchester
Tickets may be purchased online by visiting http://bit.ly/GreatAtlantaBash or in person at a participating school. Please note there is a $1 charge for online purchases. The games will be televised live on Peachtree TV and CBS 46 digital platforms.
Students, parents, alumni and the entire Atlanta community are invited to cheer on their favorite APS teams, as athletes perform in front of college coaches, recruiters and a live local television audience.
Attendees should be advised of the following information:
Clear Bag Policy: To ensure game day safety, Georgia State University requires guests to adhere to the stadium clear bag policy. Clear bags must be no larger than 12” X 6” X 12”. Small bags that are not clear, such as a clutch, must be 4.5” X 6.5”. One gallon plastic bags are also permitted.
Location/Parking: The stadium is located at 755 Hank Aaron Dr. SE, Atlanta, GA 30315. There is a parking fee of $10. Parking is available in the Blue and Green Lots.
Tailgating: Fans are encouraged to tailgate at the Georgia State Stadium! However, please follow the following guidelines here: http://bit.ly/tailgatepolicy.
