Civics/Government, Spanish II, Honors 9th Literature, AP Biology, and Intro to Business & Technology are just a taste of the courses offered this fall at Atlanta Virtual Academy (AVA), a fully accredited online learning environment available to middle and high school students at Atlanta Public Schools.
“The AVA program can help students accelerate and get ahead, or support students who need to recover credits and catch up,” said Atlanta Virtual Academy Director Krasandra Holmes. “To assist with course planning, the AVA team offers a virtual school counselor and academic support specialist. Additionally, we have live teachers who help students work through the virtual content. We offer CTAE courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Honors courses and much more.”
Registration for AVA fall programming is Aug. 1-Sept. 30.
