Elizabeth Omilami, President/CEO of Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless (HFTH), is the featured speaker at the 5th Annual Shirley Clarke Franklin Lecture Series at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy, 1190 Northwest Dr., NW, Atlanta 30318.
The lecture series is named after former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Clarke Franklin, who is scheduled to participate in the event. Atlanta Board of Education Chair Reuben R. McDaniel is also scheduled to participate.
The middle and high school girls who attend Coretta Scott King Academy have active roles in the program and will engage the participants in learning activities, as well as compose the audience for the event.
