The 2022 Atlanta Public Schools Technology and Innovation Competition is underway providing our APS students with the opportunity to showcase their 21st century technological skills, talent, and creativity.
The Department of Instructional Technology and the Division of Academics invites you to judge the competition entries between February 3-13. The competition, as well as the judging is virtual this year allowing a more flexible schedule and time commitment from our volunteer judges.
Judges’ Orientation will take place in January. There are four options to choose from and judges only have to attend one session.

Dr. Natasha Rachell, APS Director of Instructional Technology, said she is excited about this year’s competition adding that “the relationships we establish through our event could lead to thriving career opportunities for our students” anticipating this year’s competition will be the best yet.
Students in grades 3-12 can work individually or with a partner to develop and present work at their school’s Tech Tourney, where they will compete for the top spots to advance to the district level.
Winners from the district competition will represent Atlanta Public Schools at the Georgia Student Technology Competition (GaSTC), the highest level of student technology competition in the state.
